FAQ's
What is a Welsh Cake?
A Welsh cake is a traditional treat from Wales. It’s like a cross between a scone, a biscuit, and a pancake...kind of! They're tender inside, lightly spiced, and cooked on a flat hot surface rather than baked in an oven.
They’re usually served warm, dusted with sugar, and enjoyed with a cuppa, though we think they’re pretty irresistible at any time of day.
How long will delivery take?
We don't use any preservative in our cakes, so all orders are baked fresh and typically ship within 3–4 business days.
This gives you extra time to get excited about tucking into the delicious treats!
How long do they stay fresh?
Our Welsh cakes stay fresh for 7-10 days when stored in an airtight container at room temperature, if they even last that long!
They don’t contain preservatives, so they’re best enjoyed sooner rather than later.
Warm them up with a quick 10-second zap in the microwave, or try popping them into a toaster.
Can I freeze Welsh Cakes?
Absolutely. Our cakes freeze beautifully.
Just pop them in a sealed container or a freezer bag and chuck them on ice. Make sure to fully defrost at room temp or give them a short warm-up in the microwave before eating them. The perfect solution for emergencies and late-night cake cravings.
Do you take private or event bookings?
We do! Weddings, birthdays, corporate events, or just a bunch of hungry people, we can bring the cakes and the magic.

Do you offer vegan or gluten-free options?
Not at the moment, but we’re experimenting!
Our current recipes rely on butter, lard and wheat flour for our signature taste and texture, but we’re working on options that don’t compromise on flavour or feel. Watch this space.
Is it illegal to eat eight in a row?
We’ve checked and you’re fine. No laws broken, maybe a few crumbs down your top though!
Welsh cakes are small, perfectly snackable, and dangerously moreish so we fully support your commitment to the cause.
